Slovenian climbing star Janja Garnbret kicked off the lead season on a high note with a top in the women's final at the IFSC Climbing World Cup in Wujiang, China.

SUZHOU, April 14 (Xinhua) -- Janja Garnbret of Slovenia topped the route to claim the women's Lead gold at the 2024 IFSC Climbing World Cup here on Sunday, while Britain's Toby Roberts won the men's category.

Following a Boulder gold from Shaoxing last week, world No. 1 Garnbret had been left unchallenged in Wujiang as the only climber in both men's and women's draws to top all routes in the qualification, semifinal and the final.
